Additionally, as of 2014, more than 60% of retail customers consider sustainability when shopping and 91% of German consumers would like to see manufacturers commit to bringing durable, repairable and reusable products to market. As a result, it becomes important for companies to demonstrate that they are actively working to optimise their products in a sustainable manner.
